Canada's public broadcaster, CBC, has made several significant announcements in recent months. It has appointed Ariel Yang as head of digital originals, which includes microdramas. Additionally, the CBC has published a Northbeat report analyzing the recent midterm elections in the United States. Furthermore, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is negotiating with Germany for the acquisition of submarines, with initial orders for eight and potential future orders for four more. Defence analysts warn that lowering submarine procurement could impact Canada's influence with manufacturers.
