Cristiano Ronaldo has cut his punishment to 29 days' suspension and a $285 fine for abandoning Portugal's training session. Initially, he requested a punishment without mitigation but later fought to cut it. The disciplinary action resulted from a conflict with coach Jesus. Ronaldo initially demanded a punishment without reduction then sought to reduce it. The fine and suspension were given for exiting the camp prematurely.
